After realizing that established suppliers couldn’t fully meet the need for COVID-19 test kits, Origin, a manufacturer of 3D printers, approached Dymax about partnering on a 3D-printed nasopharyngeal test swab project. Dymax light- curing conveyor systems allowed the company to ramp up production to meet the skyrocketing demand, producing more than 2 million swabs in just a few weeks.
